STEP 1.

Find the ARCHER'S TWIST.

"Pull one arm back like you're an archer getting ready to release an arrow. Make sure the twist is happening in your chest and upper body only. Both sides of your pelvis should remain facing straight forward."

STEP 2.

Stabilize your FOUNDATION.

"Stabilize your standing leg by spreading your toes and lifting the arches of your foot. Lift up through the muscles of your lower leg and upper leg. Hug the outer hip of your standing leg in to activate the hip stabilizing muscles."

STEP 3.

Find a NEUTRAL PELVIS and KICK BACK.

"Find a neutral pelvis, by lengthening your tailbone down and zipping up from your pubic bones to your belly button. Maintain neutral pelvis as you lift one leg up, and maintain those pelvic actions as you kick back into dancer pose."

AND FINALLY, PUT IT ALL TOGETHER!

QUOTE and a QUESTION for INSPIRATION

QUOTE.

by Joshua Foer, who is a journalist and author with a primary focus on science. He was also the 2006 USA Memory Champion:

"Regular practice simply isn't enough. To improve, we must watch ourselves fail, and learn from our mistakes.

  • Source: Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer

QUESTION.

When was the last time fear of failure held you back from doing something? What if you embraced failure as part of the learning process? What would you do right now?
